Holiday Return & Exchange Policy

Francesca’s offers a special holiday return and exchange policy for items purchased between November 20, 2022, and December 25, 2022. 

You may return merchandise with an original receipt for a full refund until Saturday, January 14, 2023.

Returns with Original Receipt

Francesca’s accepts returns or exchanges for eligible items with an original receipt within 21 days after December 25, 2022. After 21 days, returns or exchanges are still eligible for a merchandise credit for up to 90 days. 

Ineligible items include FINAL SALE or clearance items that end in .97, .98, or .99, any item for $5 or less, intimates, gift cards, and swimwear.

Merchandise returned with a gift receipt may be exchanged or returned for merchandise credit. Returns accompanied by an original receipt will be processed with the original form of payment. All merchandise returned after January 14, 2023, with an original or gift receipt, will be issued a merchandise credit at the purchase price.

Returns without a receipt will be issued merchandise credit at the purchase price.

How to Return or Exchange an Item

Francesca’s offers several ways to return or exchange items, including:

Boutique Purchases: 

You can return or exchange items at any Francesca’s boutique with an original receipt. You will be given merchandise credit if you still need a receipt. Purchases made in boutiques can only be returned to boutiques at this time.

Online Purchases: 

You can return or exchange items online or in-store. PayPal orders can currently be returned in a boutique for merchandise credit only.

Afterpay Purchases: 

Afterpay orders cannot be returned in boutiques. You can visit Francesca’s online returns portal to begin your return and print a return label. Afterpay will be notified of your return and refund payment accordingly once your return is received and processed by Francesca’s warehouse.

By Mail: 

You can send the item(s) you wish to return for returns. Francesca’s will issue the refund for the purchase price of the item(s) returned to your original payment method (or email you merchandise credit if past 21 days) free for orders $65 or over if you use their shipping label. If you use their shipping label, orders under $65 will be charged $5.00. 

For exchanges, send Francesca’s the item(s) you wish to exchange for FREE using their shipping label.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Initiating a return or exchange is easy. All you need to do is fill out the form on their website, print the label, and affix it to the original packaging. Then drop off the package at any FedEx location, drop box, or with a FedEx driver.

Refunds and Merchandise Credit

You should see a refund in 7-14 business days from when Francesca’s receives the original item. 

A merchandise credit will be emailed to you as an e-gift card in 2-3 business days from the day they receive the original item.

Returning Gifts or Sale Items

Francesca’s also accepts returns for items received as gifts or purchased on sale or with a promo code. For items received as gifts, if you have the original receipt, you can receive a credit to the original payment method or merchandise credit if it’s been more than 21 days since the delivery date. 

You will be given merchandise credit if you still need the receipt.

Returning Items by Mail

The process is simple if you wish to return an item by mail. Fill out the form on the Francesca’s website to initiate your return or exchange. You can then print a shipping label to affix to the original packaging directly over the original mailing label. 

Make sure the merchandise and online packing slip are included.

Once you have packaged the item, you can drop it off at any FedEx location, drop box, or with a FedEx driver. Returns are accessible using the provided shipping label if your order was $65 or over. However, for orders less than $65, a $5.00 fee will be charged.

Once Francesca’s receives the original item, you can expect a refund in 7-14 business days if you paid by credit or debit card. If it’s been more than 21 days since the delivery date, you will receive a merchandise credit instead of a refund. 

A merchandise credit will be emailed to you as an e-gift card in 2-3 business days.

Returning Items Bought on Sale or with a Promo Code

If you have purchased an item on sale or with a promo code and wish to return it, the return policy still applies. If you have your receipt, you will be refunded for the amount that you paid for the items. 

If you don’t have your receipt, you will be issued merchandise credit for the current price of the item(s).

Returning Gifts

If you have received a gift from Francesca’s that you wish to return, the process is slightly different. If you have the original receipt, you can credit the original payment method or receive merchandise credit if it’s more than 21 days past the date of delivery. You will be given merchandise credit if you still need a receipt.
